X-Files 2 movie in the making soon?

SciFi channel reports that according to David Duchovny the cast will have David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson again playing the main roles. According to Duchovny the script is done and Chris Carter will direct it. Apparently this will be a standalone film similar to the first one that was released in 1998.
