Transhab Is The New Bigelow Aerospace BA330 Module

NASAspaceflight.com reports:

“…International Space Station Program (ISSP) managers at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston held a two-day meeting this week to discuss the prospect of adding a Bigelow Aerospace inflatable module to the ISS. The Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) ran on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th January.”

This is a great step forward in lending credibility to Bigelow Aerospace’s inflatable space modules and for the private commercial space industry. It would allow for on-orbit testing without requiring separate hardware to maintain the modules. Additionally the International Space Station would be expanded and NASA would be able to benefit from the patents and initial investments made in its cancelled TransHab project that was handed over to Bigelow Aerospace after 1999.
