French Space Agency CNES Opens UFO Cases Site (French Only)
After a couple of months the availability of the site as finally become reliable. The first onrush took it offline for weeks. You can select a state and dig down into french UFO or other (explained) sighting cases or select by looking at “national” cases (whatever that means). Beware that you will need basic understanding of the french language since no english site version is available (yet?), but understand the french pride probably never. Cases are listed by name, date, region and class.
The classes are defined like this:
- A : 100% explained observation
- B: observation very likely explainable by proposed GEIPAN explanation
- C: observation not explainable due to lack of information
- D: observation unexplained in spite of “elements” in possession of GEIPAN (whatever this means? They know but can or will not explain it?)
You can access testimonies for each case as well as pdf files and images if they are available in each case. This is a step in the right direction.
